Issuers
Inside assistants, one saved card usually takes every purchase. Backstop sends each agent purchase to the customer's best card for it, so a strong card earns spend it would otherwise lose. We'd like to confirm how your cards treat our charges and talk about routing on agent spend.
Networks
We are building Backstop as a staged digital wallet for agent purchases, with the merchant's category and name passed through. Our routing data across issuers is evidence for a cross-issuer credential.
Assistant platforms
Backstop already works wherever your users can give you a card. If you open a payment connector, we can hand you a token scoped to one merchant and amount, with the user's limits checked before checkout.
